Booking & Cancellation Policy
How a date is reserved, when payment is due, and what happens if an event is cancelled.
Last updated 14 September 2026
Reserving your date
Once your event has been confirmed, we begin preparing for your experience well in advance.
Because each event requires planning, menu preparation, ingredient sourcing and scheduling, we kindly ask you to make sure your event is confirmed before making your booking.
Payment
- A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking.
- The remaining 50% balance is due after the event.
- The initial 50% payment must be received no later than 2 weeks before your event date.
- If the 50% payment has not been received by this deadline, the event will not be considered confirmed and the booking will be treated as cancelled.
Cancellation
Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event date are non-refundable. This means that the initial 50% payment will not be refunded if the event is cancelled during the final two weeks.
We hope you understand that this policy is necessary because, by this stage, much of the preparation for your event will already have been planned and arranged. Depending on the event, this may include menu planning, ingredient purchasing, scheduling, preparation and making sure everything is ready to create the experience we have promised you.
We put a great deal of care into every event and want everything to run beautifully for you and your guests. For this reason, we kindly ask you to make sure that your event is definitely going ahead at least 2 weeks before the date.
In short
- 50%: what secures your booking.
- 2 weeks before the event: the 50% payment must have been received, and the event is considered confirmed.
- Within the final 2 weeks: cancellations are non-refundable.
- After the event: the remaining 50% balance is due.
We truly appreciate your understanding. This policy is what allows us to plan properly and give every event the time, care and attention it deserves.
