Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply to bookings and orders with Siso Food.
Last updated 14 September 2026
1. Scope
These terms apply to every quote, booking and order between Siso Food and a client, unless something different has been agreed in writing.
2. Quotes
Quotes are valid for 14 days and are based on the guest count, date and menu discussed. A quote becomes a booking once you confirm it in writing and the deposit has been received.
3. Deposit and payment
- A 50% deposit secures your booking. The date is not held before it is received.
- The deposit must be received no later than 2 weeks before the event date. If it has not, the event is not considered confirmed and the booking is treated as cancelled.
- The remaining 50% is due after the event.
- All prices are exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated.
4. Changes and final numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 7 days before the event. Increases after that point are accommodated where possible; decreases after that point do not reduce the agreed price.
5. Cancellation
- Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the event date are non-refundable: the 50% deposit is not refunded.
- By that point the preparation is already under way, which may include menu planning, ingredient purchasing, scheduling and the preparation itself.
6. Allergies and dietary requirements
We take allergies seriously and plan menus around them, but our kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy, egg, fish and shellfish. We cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces. Allergies must be communicated in writing before the final menu is confirmed.
7. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of the booking. We are not liable for indirect loss, or for circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as venue failures, extreme weather or supplier disruption.
8. Applicable law
Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Oost-Brabant.
